Learn to Sew in our Sewing Studio!

Whether you’re brand new to sewing or ready to expand your garment-making skills, our sewing classes in Asheville are designed to help you grow with confidence.

At Sewing Studio Fabrics, we focus on practical, apparel-focused sewing skills taught in a welcoming studio environment. Our classes are small, hands-on, and built around real projects so you leave with both new knowledge and something you’ve made yourself.

Our bright, light-filled studio offers large cutting tables, professional pressing stations, fitting space, and plenty of room to spread out and sew. Most importantly, you’ll learn alongside other makers who share your love of clothing and craftsmanship.

Classes are taught by the staff of Sugarcane Studios, a professional sewing studio serving Asheville with high-quality custom sewing and alterations for over 12 years, located directly above our fabric store.
