Summer is finally here, and what better way to celebrate than by stitching up some sunshine-filled creations? While the heat might be cranking up the thermostat, it’s the perfect time to let your creativity flow!
Introducing the “Sun’s Out, Sundresses On” Sewing Challenge! Let’s come together as a sewing community to celebrate the joy of dressmaking. We’re keeping things casual and inclusive, so whether you prefer a classic sundress or a modern take on the style, your creation is welcome!
To make things even more exciting, we’ve teamed up with our fabulous fabric shop friends, Kayla from Surge Fabrics, Bethany from Fluid + Drape, and Candace from Fab Rick’s Fabrics! They’re as excited as we are to share this summer sewing adventure with you.
How to Join:
- Sew a Dress: Create a sleeveless or short-sleeved dress that screams summer!
- Share Your Creation: Post a photo of your dress on Instagram using the hashtag #sunsoutsundresseson.
- Join the Fun: Join our Discord chat group to connect with other sewists, share your progress, and get inspired!
