Bemberg rayon is a perfect lining fabric - breathable, non-static, natural fiber.   However, don’t over look this amazing fabric for dresses, tops, or skirts!   This Plum colorway has a striped texture that runs parallel to the selvedges. 

I have been enjoying solid colors with a texture…it elevates the garment and adds a touch of personality to your sewing projects!

This is perfect for the Seamwork Taylor Wrap Dress, True Bias Calvin Wrap, a stack of True Bias Ogden Camis, a Chalk & Notch Fringe Dress, and literally countless blouse patterns. It would be hard to find a wardrobe this fabric wouldn't work in, so much so, we cut some yardage for our stash already!


Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "deadstock" fabrics from the fashion industry, and fiber content is sometimes best educated guess. Sourcing in general is less predictable during COVID-19, and it's very rare to restock a deadstock fabric during normal circumstances. We source and purchase only what we feel to be of the highest quality for our customers. Due to setting fluctuations on monitors, photo color accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
