Here is your latest obsession: floaty single layer Indian cotton gauze, yarn dyed and embroidered in long, straight stitches, perfect for all of your sewing dreams. Layer this breathable fabric in warmer seasons and pull it out in the hottest months for carefree, breezy elegance. We have seven colors total with cream, sky, teal, charcoal, black, sienna and olive. This one is so good, we've already cut yardage for our own wardrobes. We have plans for a comfy, layer-able spring bottoms like the Sew Liberated Estuary Skirt or the Seamwork Joss Pants and a spring shacket-shirt dress, like the Grainline Alder or a Darling Ranges by Megan Nielsen. So many possibilities, we may have to go back for more yardage!
Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "dead stock" fabrics from the fashion industry, and fiber content is sometimes best educated guess. Sourcing in general is less predictable during COVID-19, and it's very rare to restock a dead stock fabric during normal circumstances. We source and purchase only what we feel to be of the highest quality for our customers.
