Content: double sided wool/cotton
Width: 56 inches
One side is a warm oatmeal cotton, the other side is wool, both sides are shockingly soft! We call this the "Peggy Fabric" because our friend Peggy from Sew House 7 patterns introduced it in her shop last year for a limited run. Peggy doesn't always want to carry fabric as it's not her main focus, so we thought we'd offer it for our customers. You can see the charcoal gray colorway on the Toaster Sweater pattern cover here. This is a warm, comfy fabric perfect for transitional weather as well as winter days needing comfort with hot cocoa. Since it is double sided, it would work great as a cardigan, cardi-coat combo, pullover, and even a matching skirt-combo for the ultimate in luxury. Check out our suggested patterns below.
Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "dead stock" fabrics from the fashion industry, and fiber content is sometimes best educated guess. Sourcing in general is less predictable during COVID-19, and it's very rare to restock a dead stock fabric during normal circumstances. We source and purchase only what we feel to be of the highest quality for our customers.
