Content: Bemberg Rayon
Width: 54 inches

Somewhere between light and mid-weight, this rayon's pattern is made by raised, wrapped threads in the weave creating a small windowpane texture. In a neutral dark navy that fits into every wardrobe, this fabric is very soft with tactile and visual interest to keep it from being boring. We'd use this weight of fabric to make loose, elastic waist pants, long flowing skirts, a fun woven t-shirt or t-shirt dress, or a classic summer shacket. We've actually used a previous listing of a close relative of this fabric to make the Sew House 7 Free Range Slacks (in photos), but like that rayon this is also a deadstock so supplies are limited! A few pattern suggestions are linked below.

Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "dead stock" fabrics from the fashion industry, and fiber content is sometimes best educated guess. Sourcing in general is less predictable during COVID-19, and it's very rare to restock a dead stock fabric during normal circumstances. We source and purchase only what we feel to be of the highest quality for our customers.
