Content: 55% Linen, 45% Cotton
Width: 54-55 inches
Weight: 227gsm/6.7 oz

Classic, year-round mid-weight linen-cotton blend in four colors for all of your easy, breathable-wardrobe needs. This linen is just under 7 oz/yard and after washing, the fibers will "bloom" more making the fabric completely opaque. This will work for everything from a classic, always-in-fashion linen blazer to linen pants to a dress with a bit more structure, like a fit-and-flare style. Personally, I wash and dry my linen & linen blends in the washer and dryer 2-3x before I sew with it to make sure I've got all the pre-shrinking done. I prefer my linen garments to be washable, but you may prefer hand-washing and line drying. Linen is a long-staple fiber and will last many years. The blend with cotton allows you to skip that "break-in" time and leaves the fabric already soft without waiting.

Pattern suggestions below.

Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "deadstock" fabrics from the fashion industry, and fiber content is sometimes best educated guess. Sourcing in general is not always predictable, and it's very rare to restock a deadstock fabric. We source and purchase only what we feel to be of the highest quality for our customers.
