Linen-blends are popular among sewists for good reason. This fabric will give you the crisp seams and natural airflow of linen with the softness and drape of rayon. If you've been looking for the perfect statement fabric for the  Cashmerette - Lenox Shirtdress this is it. This is a lighter midweight at most with the rayon being the larger percentage, so plan on projects that allow for drape and flow like the Highlands Wrap Dress, or sew up your favorite pieces from Megan Nielsen - Protea Capsule. Just about any pattern by Sew Liberated or Sew House Seven would be great as they both draft for linen/linen blends quite often. This soft blue base with flowers in mustard, terra cotton, soft pink, make this a fabric that works equally well in a dress, duster, top or skirt….dress it up for an evening out, or pair with denim to enjoy the depth of the print. 

*Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "deadstock" fabrics from the fashion industry, and fiber content is sometimes best educated guess. Sourcing in general is less predictable during COVID-19, and it's very rare to restock a "dead stock" fabric during normal circumstances.
