Cotton lawn is HUGE this year with almost every pattern company coming out with summer blouses, shirts, and dresses made for lawns and cotton voiles. The Studio is stocked up and ready for your wardrobe refresh! The great thing about lawns is they press well, are very light weight and breathable so easy to layer in cool evenings and cool weather, and the wash care is so easy. I wash in cold water and just normal tumble dry. Press well while you're sewing, and the fabric will bounce right out of a hot dryer in good shape. If you have any travel plans with your lawn or voile makes, they're so light weight that letting your morning shower steam loosen any wrinkles is usually enough.

These orange-tipped blackbirds on a blue-ish gray sky are reminiscent of a folk art interpretation of red winged blackbirds, perfect for that classic conversation piece in your wardrobe.
