These are the not-so-basic basics we love. Take a go-with-everything rayon in a neutral color and add interest so that you WANT to pull that basic out and wear it. This rayon has a light gauze-crinkle to it and a wide-spaced clipdot to make it more than just another blouse fabric for your closet. Weddings are getting planned for this summer, folks are going into the office a bit more often and getting tired of stretch clothes every day, but need something that will fill a lot of gaps - if this sounds familiar, you want this fabric. We have 3 colorways in a saturated black, a summer optic white, and a neutral denim jeans blue. This is perfect for the Seamwork Taylor Wrap Dress, True Bias Calvin Wrap, a stack of True Bias Ogden Camis, a Chalk & Notch Fringe Dress, and literally countless blouse patterns. It would be hard to find a wardrobe this fabric wouldn't work in, so much so, we cut some yardage for our stash already!

Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "dead stock" fabrics from the fashion industry, and fiber content is sometimes best educated guess. Sourcing in general is less predictable during COVID-19, and it's very rare to restock a dead stock fabric during normal circumstances. We source and purchase only what we feel to be of the highest quality for our customers.
