"Lady McElroy, is the queen of all fabric collections, and is characterized with the stamp of refinement and opulence."
This is a sleeper fabric. I guarantee a crisp button-up or shirt-dress made of this fabric will be a wardrobe staple for years. It is one of those fabrics that makes for a no-brainer, Monday-meeting shirt or dress. The color saturation of the amber, apricot, and raspberry dollops are so pure, they look just like sorbet. This fabric would look just as gorgeous at Sunday service or brunch. It's just *that* fabric that will always make you feel put together. Go for a Cashmerette Lenox Dress, a Deer & Doe Melilot, or go for a summer-stunner in the Mimi G Jessica dress from her Sew Sew Def line. The viscose gives a nice float to the sturdy, easy to press linen. Viscose and linen blends make construction a breeze not to mention the 57 inch width gives you extra to make a matching scarf or head-wrap.
Many fabrics in the Sewing Studio are "dead stock" fabrics from the fashion industry. Sourcing in general is less predictable during COVID-19, and it's very rare to restock a "dead stock" fabric during normal circumstances. We source and purchase only what we feel to be of the highest quality for our customers. Due to setting fluctuations on monitors photo color accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
As always, please email with any questions or concerns.
