Handmade Holidays!

"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." - William Arthur Ward

Every year I struggle to find that "perfect" holiday gift for everyone on my list.   And every year I vow that "next year" I will start earlier and make my holiday gifts!

This year has been beyond what any of us could have imagined - the struggles are real.  If we look, we can often see many gifts in our lives, even during the most challenging times.  We can use our gratitude to fuel our creativity, and share kindness with those around us.

We will soon be turning the calendar to December...
and I want to offer you a few ideas that are not only a quick sew, but are practical and fun for anyone to receive!

Holiday Gift Ideas

Costa Tote - This is a free pattern from Helen's Closet Patterns.  A quick sew, the Costa is perfect for using when running errands, shopping at the farmer's market, or going to the gym (we will be doing this again someday!).  The Costa features an asymmetrical pocket for your keys, phone or sunglasses, or the pocket-less version.   Use fabric in your stash or grab some Denim or Twill .  Easy to carry, wash and you can use with the pockets on the inside or outside.  Here's the link for the Pattern: Costa Tote.  Perfect for friends, co-workers , or a family member.
